Would be interested in comments other than the obvious one of just using any old bowl instead.
It looks more convenient and easy to use....

Me thinks it is a load of bollocks. I bought a standard plastic 'sink' from bunnings - in fact we are now on our 2nd one now after 4.5 years (wanted a different clour for a change) cost about $4.00. Fits neatly across the sink, or in the sink if turned the other way.
Admittedly it does not have lift up handles but is very easily lifted by placing the fingers under the lip on either side.

To me this is just junk...... but some people will buy anything.

Wow! No beating about the bush with you is there John (unless you are beating around the bush in your rig!).
I also agree, as there is this and so much other stuff like special air bags to put under a wheel and inflate it to raise a wheel to fit a hub (use the good old basic recovery tool - the long handled shovel - to lever heavy wheels into place), special steps to fit over a wheel in order to reach a roof rack (stand on the wheel itself), plastic thingos to keep the lid of an esky or fridge open when not in use (a bit of branch will do just nice), special plastic straps to tie down loads (a piece of rope with some skills will do just nice) and so on.
We seem to live in a world of gadgets which have replaced simple 'freebies' already in place if we really look hard!

You'd be surprised what you can do with a wash up brush and a 2 litre ice cream container John. I take a four litre one as well, but the two litre one does the job most times. I used the four litre one for washing my hair when we had that two week 'holiday' on the road last year.
