Last night was the catered dinner, held at the Sports Club. A brand new venue, run by the community. The work was done by volunteers. Boggers dressed for the occasion in the theme of stripes and colour red. It is amazing how ingenious people can be.

Muzza had gone out to the community to find out where the funds raised should go. With the amazing amount of goods donated by supporters, collected by Geoff Prosser, the auction raised almost $8000.

BOG donations totalled nearly $19,000 to the community. Mens Shed $2000; SB Scouts $950; Defibrillator $2000; Jetty Pool Fence $2000; National Trust Museum $1835; SES $1900; ECG Machine $6588, and anonymous donation of $1000; making the total to the Hospital of $7588. $500 each to McGrath Foundation; Prostate Research; RFDS.

The Health complex is a great story of the community acting together. When the long time local doctor retired, he put the practice up for sale, and had no takers, and it looked like the clinic would close, as well, the government may well have closed the hospital. The community rallied and the ratepayers purchased the clinic and have contracted locums (at $2000 per day), so the health complex remains open. Boggers thought it was a pleasure to assist with donations.

Apologies for errors, sometimes my fingers are too fast, and big thanks to Stephen, the photographer.

So ends another fabulous Muster, and we get to do it all again next year in BOURKE, NSW
