MEG and Capt Norty apologies for the Muster

To Murray and all the lucky people attending the Muster,
Capt Norty and I send our apologies. For eleven years we have been leaving Cairns in the best of weather and going down south, or other places into colder weather for months at a time. Last year when I contracted bronchial pneumonia at Streaky Bay - that was the pits. So when it came April and usually the time for us to leave, I said I never want to go down to the cold again - so here we are still in Cairns.

Enjoying the warm weather and playing plenty of golf.

Looking at the program for the Muster, you all will have the usual wonderful, friendly time; and we will miss seeing you all.

We will be there next year.
