I was thinking what is the chance of getting a gasfitter to come along to the Muster, and say for a nominal fee (say $50 per van), do a gas compliance check on your Swift 500 oven and HWS.
What are your thoughts?

I'm quite sure Gas compliance is state thing and not national. For most it would not be worth the paper it's written on. Good thought thou

I have contacted the relevant Victorian authority about DIY installation of a gas detector in a caravan. They have confirmed that there is no problem from their perspective in owners doing so. I will be conducting a workshop at the Corryong muster with the help of another Committee member for interested attendees.
