Mallee with a sprawling, straggling habit. Leaves are large, blue-grey and sessile (without a leaf stalk). Large buds with a pointed bud cap (operculum). Flowers are the largest of all eucalypts, up to 7cm diameter. Gumnuts are large and flattened.&lt;br /&gt;
