Last night BINGO was conducted and over $400 was raised for our coffers.
Today was a TAGALONG through the beautiful countryside and scenic coastal area of Streaky Bay. It started off with a take away breakfast of roles and coffee from BAYFUNKTION coffee house, which is owned by Ursula, daughter of Heather and Lloyd Smith of Streaky Bay.
Along the Westall Way loop drive, taking in High Cliff, Smooth Pool, Speed Point; along the coast to Sceale Bay. They to Point Labatt, where we munch on our lunch, and visited the LOO WITH A VIEW - see the photos is the best way I can describe it ! Back along Calca Road and over the Murphy's Haystacks. They are not hay, but a fascinating outcrop of huge rocks on the land of a farmer named Murphy - so Aussie humour being what it is - the name MURPHYS HAYSTACKS was coined, and it is now a famous tourist stop off.
Driving through Sea Lion Drive, we managed to catch site of a number of seals basking in the sun. Then it was back home to BT Capital at the Racecourse, Streaky Bay.
