About Me

We are a bit unusual in that we are Kiwis living north of Auckland. In spite of being seriously old, I still work three days a week for a couple of months, then we fly to Australia for adventures and exploration in our Bushtracker for a month or so.

So far [January 2017] we have wandered the East Coast from Mackay to Warrnambool and this year we will head to Adelaide and then decide to go west to Perth or north to Darwin.

We had initially thought that we would drive around - and across - Australia for a few years then ship the truck and van back to NZ for wandering around this country. But we probably won't now because the Australian roads are wider and straighter and drivers are far more tolerant of caravans than NZ drivers. And there is more to see in Australia!

We enjoy the journey - not just the destination!
