This settlement was once the port for the tin mining outpost of Balfour when a horse-drawn wooden tramway had connected the town and the port. Today it’s an isolated harbour providing some shelter from the wild seas. In Temma, there are a few shacks and a slipway that fishers use to pull their boats up in bad weather.
