Had an e-mail from a mate this am who tells me there was a BT rollover reported on his Local 7 News last night. Happened near Nambour on a straight section near the Keil Mountain Overpass. He thought the tow vehicle was a Ford Explorer. Anyone any info? Andy

The whole story would be of interest to all of us including ball weight sand hitch/coupling specs.

G'day Andy,

Didnt see that one ..... would be interesting to know the circumstances. If it was a Ford Ex. they only have a tow cap. of 2500kg for the 6 or the V8. We will probably never know the "facts" and can only surmise what went wrong.

Perhaps one of the local BOGers could ring the TV news room, they may have some info.
The local cop shop would be good if any of the locals have a contact.
We would all like to know why a BT rolled on a straight road. And to confirm that it was a BT.
