Dispatch from 'Turist'

I spoke to Turist yesterday. He is in Central NSW in his new 20' Bushtracker and from what I can gather will be wandering aimlessly through NSW and Qld for the next 2 months until he gets to Gympie for the Muster and then on to Cania Gorge. God! What a terrible life! Anyway, the BT seems to be fine and the most important thing I gleaned from Turist is that the new Webasto Diesel powered heater is worthe every cent!. I think he's actually gone a bit soft. Muttered about never going bush again in winter unless the 'van had a Webasto heater fitted! Andy. Turist asked me to pass on that at all costs you should get the heater fitted. I'm hoping to catch up with them around Mt Isa in late July. Already I'm feeling like they will be gloating about how warm their 'van is compared with ours! Never mind. I'm thinking of the benefits of our non-Webasto van. The ice won't melt as quickly in my Scotch!
