If you are contemplating getting a LCD TV set have a look at http://www.apexdigital.com.au/Products-lcdtfttv1.asp. This is a Digitrex brand and my grandson says their DVD players are the best at a reasonable price. This TV will not be available till mid 2004 but this may suit some members. The specs look good and a wall mount kit will be available. They have an excellent website and will respond to an email not like a lot of Australian businesses. Digitrex is a big brand overseas.

I should have mentioned in my last post that the LCD TV is not wide screen. If I were getting a new TV the wide screen would be the way to go. Has anyone seen a wide screen LCD TV? EWC

Anthony, I had a look at it and apart from the bank manager
approval requirement it it much too big for a caravan. Also its 854*480 pixels resolution is
pretty ordinary for the asking price. Well then has anybody else seen a 12v wide screen LCD TV
suitable for caravanning?
Cheers from

GlobalSat in Adelaide have a Miyota LCD 7.5" Widescreen monitor and TV for $299.00 The picture quality and features of this unit are everything you need and can be mounted upside down and picture flipped. The speaker is small and very ordinary, but with an external speaker the sound quality is great.
