I replaced the existing 50 watt halogen lamps in the bedside reading lamps with 20 watters. They throw oodles of light and have a tighter 36 degree spot arc. This will keeps your light out of your partners face. They run cool to the touch and use a lot less energy. No more cursing when you accidently touch the fitting while doing your pre slumber yoga exercises. I got mine from Bunnings. See the pic of the box they came in. Ernie

I've now modified these to use 10w quartz globes for even more AMBIENCE . I havent got the silk curtains like Brian and Ernie though ..........[wink] Anthony
