Guess what everyone???? We enjoyed Cania soooooo much that we have decided it is time to retire (had to ask Jan how to spell it - but I'll learn real quick). We are aiming to be finished before or by Christmas and then every day will be a Chooseday won't it? Can't wait. Graham

Graham and Jan, also noted the new monika. Is that also a life change due to attending the Cania party? Angie

Hi Anthony, Just wondering - we have a desk top counter that will be second hand in 318 days time. Would you be interested? Ivan

I am concerned over the lack of consideration from
certain people who are retired or close to retirement, relative to those of us
who have to pass the BT in the driveway each morning for another seemingly
infinite number of times, before we too will not have to turn around and can
return home the long way.

I suppose it’s an apprenticeship.

Best of luck.

Jan & Graham, that's great news. It must have been those extra days at Hat Head that was the final decider. I retired in April this year and can certainly recommend it, although winding up a business is still a drawn out procedure. We're only a phone call away when you want to go somewhere. Paul & Barb.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and wishes. My mind is a little frazzled at the moment as I never thought that Graham would make the decision to do IT. Retirement, that is. It's something that has been on the cards for a long time now, but I think the whole Cania trip helped put the icing on the cake in lots of ways. I am at this point, very short on words, so I'll just say etc etc etc. Jan

Gary, Sorry, but its a bit hard to commiserate with someone who actually has a BT in the driveway. Angie hasn't even got a driveway let alone a BT! Angie

Hi Angie and everyone, I have decided that I do not like the word retirement so I have replaced it with "life's great". Well then, our "life's great" preparations are going swimmingly, Angie. We've sold the guts of the business (plant & machinery etc) on the condition that we get to move it all back up to Sydney to it's new home. No probs with that as we figure it will be good "closure" for us. Mind you - shutting the doors would do the same thing, I suppose! Anyway, our first trip is in the upwards direction. We are getting some work done on "Baby" by Greg Hirst (Tunza) on the Sunshine Coast toward the end of the year, so we are planning to meander on up that way - slowly. We are taking Graham's dad (following in his own little Avan - thank you) with us so he is over the moon and packing already. My next problem is finding someone to look after my pussies. Once I get that sorted then you won't see us for dust! Graham thinks he has finally got the back of the F250 sorted in his mind, so he now has to build his boxes/shelves etc., to carry the rubber duck and pushbikes and beer fridge. So long as the beer fridge fits - he'll be happy. Anyone who is going to be northwards betwwen end October and Xmas - let us know, so that we can try and meet up. Jan =^..^=

Having seen the Capuccino Machine, one can only dream of what the Beer Fridge might look like!

Be afraid Motley, be very afraid! 1/2 the back of the efie sound's about the right size. I have a refrigeration place next door and we can insulate a fair part of the back then whack the cooler unit behind the cab and hey presto! cold beer. ( LOTS of cold beer). Liquor licence for the FTroope Cafe is next on the agenda............ Graham
