"Thyangra" is a cattle property homestead on the banks of the Bulloo River 50 Kl Sw from Thargominda QLD.
Self sufficient bush camping along the banks of the river. Limited power available from woolshed. Plenty of firewood. Fishing and yabbying normally OK. Owner has said that he would drill "Long Drops" for sewage disposal.
Flies can be very bad if season is dry. Plenty of river water for washing. Limited supplies of drinking water.
Suggested time for this venue is early Sept. 2-3 days after Birdsville races so BOGers wanting to see Birdsville can combine trips.

Bob, We think your suggestion re Birdsville races and "Thyangra" is a top one. I believe these races are a real experience and Bulloo River something else - never been there - would love to have a reason to go. Regards, Helen & John
