Hi all, Back from HOT Queensland after our visit to the Bushtracker factory and met Brian & Margaret , Noosa Bushtrackers.... thanks again for the warm welcome and great advice.Bushtracker people were mighty busy...lotsa vans on the assembly line. Anyhow after meeting the impressive Steve, Tracy , Peter and Paul we are in the deep and meaningfull part of what and what not to include in our unit. We decided to change our MSN nickname which was originally listed as 'bushtracker' and only typed it in as everything else we tried was taken but couldn't think of anything more originak when we got it and felt it a bit presumptious on our part as we havn't even got a Bushtracker yet! The decision of the tow vehicle has been made. We bought a LC100 5 Speed V8 petrol at the Pickles Auction in Brisbane Monday 27th. Its only 11months old with 25k on the clock. My concerns about the economy of this vehicle was our main issue but my better half was pretty much decided this was what he wanted - so now we have it and have towed a trailer with over a tonne in it from Central Coast to Vic and it used the same amount of fuel as our Toyota Hi Ace Van havn't done the litres accurately but it was about $70- worth at 83c per litre So thanks everyone for your advice which did help hearing your choices and reasons. Sorry to hear about the hail damage suffered by some of you with your vans and cars.We too were subjected to hail on the Hume last Sunday but found shelter at Marulen - pretty lucky. Chow for now..... Helen & John
