Is anyone a memeber of CMCA? I sent them an email inquiring about membership and they came back and said the living quarters had to be a part of the vehicle. Why call themselves Caravan and Motorhome ... if they are excluding caravans? tingtl/jay

Jay, First "C" stands for Campervan not caravan. I did hear a rumour they were allowing something like associate membership for caravans, maybe not ! Anthony Explore this Great Land ...Do it Easy ...Tow a Bushtrcaker

Hi Jay, We're members of the CMCA (Campervan & Motorhome Club of Australia) & have been for 3 yrs. You can be a member without owning a motorhome but you cannot attend rallys etc without one. 5th Wheelers are accepted which seems a bit of a contradiction as there are many vans that offer the same facilities as a 5th wheeler nowadays. They have a reasonable mag (lots of adds) and access to wealth of info re campsites etc plus discounts available to members - but is focussed to motorhome enthusiasts - don't think we'll be renewing this year. Cheers, Helen (You wait till you get home after your BTi inspection.... the's will be gnawing then!!)
