G'day All,I would be interested to hear your opinions as to where the best place is to transport generators.ie in the Van or outside on a roof rack on the tow vehicle etc. Regards Bato.

Not the roof. Unless you have an auto loader or a chiropractor travelling with you full time, slinging 20+ kilos over your head is a recipie for a visit by your local Workcover inspector. Just a thought.

We are having a checker plate box made made to fit across the extended drawbar on the van, this will carry the Generator, honda eu20i, oils for all motors & rags etc. We did try putting the generator in the front locker but the fuel smells get in to the van and I don't like that, the same happens in the back of the troopy we hope this will be the solution.
