I am not sure how many Boggers read the Aussie Geographic magazine. I highly recommend it as a source of info about our great land. I was just browsing the Jan-Mar 2004 edition and there was a little spot in th Bush TELEGRAPH section about email by HF Radio. I quote: "Email can now be sent by high-frquency (HF) Radio. Not only is remote location emailing possible but you can stay connected for as long as you like because, unlike satellite transmission or mobile phone (if you can find a signal), HF radio is free-to-air. So now there's no excuse not to get out there. Your boss will never know you're not at your desk". I had not heard of this before. Is anyone using HF for email/internet connection when in remote locations, and if so can you give us some info about set up and costs etc. Pete (Efftrucker) BT=Built Tough
