Hi Everyone Back on line after replacing Hard Drive(Cluster errors due to power outages). We drive out in two weeks to pick up our BT18. Good news is NLC have now opened the track from Katherine to Gove(paradise)to Caravans and Motorhomes ,the load limit has been increased from 4.5tonne(total) to 12.5tonne per axle.Opens the way for some serious exploring(permits permitting).BT owners towing with F250s will be limited once in Gove as most tracks to the hot spots will leave scratches on Cruisers/Patrols .Saw two very nice Phoenix Off-road Vans in Gove last week, did,nt get a chance to catch up and have a chat..pitty. Cheers Julie & Ulrich

Julie & Ulrich That is great news, we lived 11 years in Gove & have always hoped to re-visit with the BT. Andy

Andy, Do you know my cousin Ian Mackenzie? He worked at Gove for a while years ago. He was an electrician with a mining bent from Cessnock. Thanks in advance Macka

Is there any van access to Gurig NP/Cobourg Peninsula. We drove up there twelve months ago, and the road was great then, but they specified no caravans. Camper trailersOK. We did pass a three trailer road train at Mungerana, so I can't see why not! Bob
