Hi Mike, Our local Ford dealership principal has a 2003 F250 7.3litre diesel with upgraded chip installed with which he pulls around a 5th wheeler - dont know what weight exactly but believe it would be around 4T - and with the upgraded chip he sits comfortably on the speed limit and consumption he estimated at 23litres per 100klm. He did say that fuel consumption & power had improved notably when towing his 5th wheeler with the upgraded chip. (Raved about it in fact) Helen
