Hi everyone, I put a message on B/T Camps-Tracks yesterday to let people know there is a good destination in central north NSW at the moment. Just not sure how many people regularly check those messages so thought I would make reference to it here. The country looks great - well worth a trip. Peter (efftrucker) BT = Built Tough

Hi Peter, Enjoyed your report very much. Bourke has a reputation to overcome and no doubt there are many good folk in the region trying to do just that. One of our earlier ventures was through the town of Wilcannia - it too has so much history but had a real feel of hostility with many of the beautiful stone buildings boarded up and windows wired. We moved straight onto White Cliffs which was fascinating. . Will put Bourke on the agenda..... like you say the history of heritage is a powerfull story in those outback towns, plains and rivers. Thanks for the great photos. Cheers, Helen PS (like your BT bi line )
