Hi Brian,

I was going to post my experience with this method last week, but Microsoft's curse had struck and I couldn't log on.

My method was basically the same, but using the pieces of pipe make all the difference.(I hadn't thought of that).

Using an equidistant span between the scales, hitch & brick is relatively easy , but the 2:1 span to get 3 x scale indication is darn near impossible. You have to be extremely accurate, but now knowing about using the pipe I have confidence this will work well.

Incidently, my hitch weight was 256kg.
