Hi All,

Has anyone had experience with Fleetguard oil and fuel filters for their T/D L/Cruisers or any vehicle for that matter.

Regards,

Roy

Hello, Steven Gibbs here, Director, Bushtracker,

Yep, Yep, and Yep... Used them for about 15 years now... Case lots, about $12- to $15...From memory.. And they can give you specs that they are better than the factory ones..
They are big in all the 4x4 Clubs, and that is where I found out about them...

Fleetguard is big in the trucking Industry, and I would swear by them... No, not that way, I mean I would count on them... Ha! I probably have a dozen left at home for my current two Cruisers... Bought by the case.

Cheers, stg

Steve,

Where can I buy Fleetguard filters? A Google reveals places in the Hunter Valley and Toongabbie but is there anywhere in Queensland?

Hello John, Glad to be of help.....

To my knowledge Fleetguard is sort of a Standard for the general trucking industry... Instead of buying Isuzu or Mitsubishi at four times the price, Truckies use Fleetguard. The regular Auto parts place maybe not, they may carry Repco or other smaller commodity auto stuff... But the larger Truck Parts places are the go.. I think both of them in our area would carry Fleetguard Filters...

I bought mine at Suncoast Truck Spares in Nambour, just gave them a call 07 5441-3111, but I just gave them a call and they said it is one of the most common Filter Companies all over Australia.. And they have been the filter of choice for many 4x4 Clubs I have been involved with at well...

Just call around, Yellow Pages, Truck Parts... In your area...

Give QLD diesel spares a try http://www.qlddieselspares.com.au/
They have stores at Burpengary, Browns Plains Rocklea etc. They are are also a good source of oil including Castrol J-Max (for Japanese turbo diesels) at around $80 for 20l.

Hi Roy,

I have used a few of the Fleetguard oil filters on my F250, genuine Ford filters were $68 each but I only paid $24 for the fleetguard one's. As the other posts have mentioned, any truck parts supplier should have them or be able to order them in.

Paul.
