G'day Trackers,
Has anyone been on the road from Marble Bar to Alice Springs via Telfer and Garry Junction recently? We hope to cross that way late June or early July. My map shows that it's a Private Road (mine owned) into Telfer. Wondering if anyone has been that way and what (if any) permits were needed as well.

Never driven through there, but our latest 4WD book "Explore Australia by 4WD - Adventure Treks" (ISBN 1 74117 068 0) describes a road from 80 mile beach to Gary Junction then on to Alice and says it can carry off-road caravans all the way.
We've marked it down for a trip some time.
