Hi All,

We’re planning to tour for at least 12 months, commencing early 2006, and would be interested to know how BOGGERS with business affairs/investments etc receive hard mail in a timely fashion, without relying on family, friends, or accountant.

We’ve spent the last 6 months setting up email communications wherever possible, but the stream of hard paper to our home (which is to be sold) doesn’t seem to have diminished much. We’re considering signing up with one of the mail forwarding services advertised in the caravanning magazines, but really know nothing about them, except what’s in their own promotional material.

Is there anyone out there who can relate their experiences or recommend a particular service?

Stephen and Deborah,

We have been very happy with the service provided by Post Haste. Karen and Marten go out of their way to make sure their clients are happy and we usually had our mail delivered within 3-4 days of notifying them where to send it. Like most forwarding services they will forward everything even if it is bank junk mail but everything arrived safely and they number the parcels so you would know if one went missing (which it never did).

Their fees are on their website. We can't praise them highly enough. We have only just stopped using their service this month because we now have a post box in Kingscote, but would be happy to use them again if needed.

Same here! The service from Poste Haste is excellent - phone them in the morning and your mail is in the post same day - and you can opt for regular mail or express post if you are in a hurry. Never had any problem at all.

Hi there

We used Landbase Australia (based in Gosford) last year and will use them again this year (taking off on 6 June from Victoria to Broome via Flinders Ranges, Alice Springs, Tanami Track etc).

We found Landbase very efficient - contact by 2.00pm, mail in post next working day.

Suggest you check out their web site - www.ozemail.com.au/~lbase/

Happy Travelling.
