I am currently setting up the F250 for towing the BT and have a couple of technical queries.

First, does any one no what size and thread the plug in the side of the thermostat housing is so that a temperature sender unit can be fitted? What is the recommended sender unit type?

Secondly, I have noted several torque settings for the sump plug in different documentation. Does anyone know what the recommended torque is? I would hate to over-tighten the plug eventually strip the thread with the resulting consequences.

Thankyou,

Chris and Sue

Too technical for me. I just left all that part as standard and haven't had any problems in 120,000Km with about 80,000 towing the BT.
