Does anyone know where I can get my turbo diesel Landcruiser serviced in Alice Springs? I would prefer not to go to Peter Kittle again.

I don't know, but I am sure if you put this request on the Explore OZ site that has a lot more members, someone will be able to advice you.

Peter Little is the Alice Springs Toyota dealer from memory.

I would recommend a small two mechanic company called Four Six & Eights at 83A Smith St Alice Springs ph (08) 8952-5581. They recently serviced my Turbo diesel Nissan Patrol and the cost was several hundred dollars cheaper and I am pleased with their work.

Thanks Ian, this is the information I was looking for. Yes, Peter Kittle is the Toyota dealer in Alice but I won't comment any further in a public forum!

Public forum or not: Peter Kittle serviced our GQ Patrol years ago. We had had a shockie fail noisily, and removed it while out in the bush, so we sent it in for a service with 3 shocks - but forgot to mention it. They sent it back with the box ticked for "shock absorbers checked, front and rear" without noticing that one was absent!! Plus misc other inattentions and greivances. Would not go there again.
