Can we purchase raffle tickets "on line" when we pay membership"? Just looked up the raffle ticket order form, and it appears that snail mail and a cheque (who uses cheques these days?) is the only option. I don't want to miss out on all those lovely prizes!

Unfortunately, at least for this year, raffle tickets cannot be purchased on line. It was relatively easy and very economic to set up on line membership renewal because it is a set cost and the feature offered benefit for all members. Selling raffle tickets, with all the variations – number of tickets, which raffles, would have been a much more complex process and costly process to set up.

Hopefully by next year, with additional funds in the bank, we may be able to look at full on line purchasing facilities.

Incidentally, even with the establishment of on line membership renewal, we have found that there are quite a few members who do not wish to make on line payments and who prefer to send cheques or money orders. We must respect that wish and will continue to accept orders in that way.

I know that there is an additional cost, but Express Post will ensure that any ticket order gets to us on time.

Apologies for any inconvenience
