Keith,

I assume you are looking for the overall length. I have an 18 footer with extended towbar and will measure it tomorrow and post on here

Hello Keith,
When in doubt, you could always ask Bushtracker..... The might know.. Ha!

The external dimensions of an 18' is 7.3 Metres with the standard drawbar,
7.6 with at 300 mm extended drawbar...

Of course, since we build from scratch, we can alter any of the dimensions..

On height: The standard is 2.7 to top of wall, and in the centre allow 100mm for a Four Seasons hatch and 200mm for air-conditioning.... However, we offer variations to that if needed with internal air in a split system, and a 100mm Drop Suspension... I would not do either as there are some disadvantages with lost storage space and reduced ground clearance, but the point is that can build to different heights...

For full ground clearance, and the best air unit and storage, with the full height gear, I would allow just over 3 M, say 3.1 to allow for clearance...

Cheers from the Ranger....

G'day Keith,

7.6 confirmed for length of 18 footer (5.5m), with 300mm drawbar extn., height 2.7 to roof. Four-seasons hatch on mine is 130mm. and Dometic air-con is 270mm. making overall height of 2970mm.(ground to top of air-con with 50 psi in tyres.)
Width is 2380 + 90mm for awning (LHS) + 40mm for spare tyre obtrusion on RHS, making overall width of 2510mm....10mm wider than legal B-doubles and road trains!

When building my garage I allowed 3040 for door height thinking the BT would clear by 70mm.....WRONG!........I have an upslope into the garage opening and the air-con is behind the rear wheels. The manoeuvre necessitates a door height of 3100mm for clearance at this angle. Garage had to be modified!! Garage is 8.4 x 4.2 with the width such that all doors can be opened with ease. If building again, I would go for an extra 600mm in length to allow total walk around.

Cheers..........Rob
