We have a Carryboy canopy fitted to our F250, and have lost power to the interior light.
Has anyone with such a set up investigated how they got power to the interior light and where the wires leave the canopy to join into the Ute body. They probably have a fuse somewhere but I cannot locate it.

Brian,
The older Fords came up out of the light housings on the Fleetside Beds, on the left side from memory.... You have probably already looked but drop the tail gate and look up under the upper rail of the bed. It might be different for right hand drive but they originally came up out of the left hand Drivers side tail light housing...

Brian on my Carryboy the lamp cable goes down the LH rear of the canopy and into the tail lamp housing.
There is an in line fuse in the cable located under the body near the tail lamp.
Power is supplied from the tail lamps as they considered that you only need the lamp when tail lamps are on.
Connection inside tail lamp assembly.
I changed my power supply to the aux. battery so the lamp will work at any time.

Bob

Fords are not like BT's Steve, they don't evolve as rapidly.
I am at the moment going through the process of ordering a new 6ltr 5 speed auto "F" series from the US.
All mod cons and built ins but the tub and tailgate are the same specs as from 1990.
Good thing in some ways, I can re-use my canopy, long range tank and tub fit outs.

Bob
