We,ve moved on from Coochin Crk. The Strawberrys finished and the Moosquitoes , Sandflies & March flies started in earnest.
Be warned!
We were in the hills for 6 days of total o'cast so called in to the Island Reach Holiday Park in Imbil for a recharge.
We thouroughly reccomend it, $6- PP unpowered, and acres of beautiful undulating (with plenty of flat spots) grass looking down onto the creek.
Actually it's probably big enough to hold a BT get together.
They only have 4 powered sites and power at the rec. shelter but for BT'ers that is the advantage.
There's a bit to see in the area too and the private museum near the park is an absolute must.
At $2- PP entry we felt we were ripping THEM of.
Currently at Glastonbury Nat. Park campground , west of Gympie. It's the Nicest Nat. Park place yet.
10 klms of dirt road keps a lot of people out except on holidays.
