Best in the Industry! Announcing our new Battery Charger, with the following new features:

Remote Viewing Panel,
With present charging current in a LED bar graph.
LED Readouts for:
AC on,
Boost on,
Low voltage alarm, and
Temperature alarm.

Charger is also programmable for four battery types, by the Owner, without a return to Bushtracker.

Added charging curve: Temperature sensing charging algorithm, increases charger efficiency to maximum, without risk of overheating….

And temperature sensor in the battery compartment, with alarm, for added safety.

Also, we start a new year, the second year on our new AGM x Hybrid German A-200 Gel Batteries, without a single fault or failure!! That is very impressive, even with some occasions of accidental abuse reported, with over 600 running in Bushtrackers with our charger, we have not had a single failure. The new batteries are performing fantastically.

Regards from the Ranger, always trying to do it better…..

To answer a question that just came up:

Yes it is still in the large 50 amp size. Why? This is convenient when after a few days of clouds and rain you can be plug into power for a few hours while you have a meal at a roadhouse or pub or station. The job can be done in three or four hours, the normal run time of a generator, instead of all night and half the next day. This means an afternoon tea or shopping or such, for a whole charge in bad weather instead of an overnight stay in an undesirable spot or an unsavoury location. It also works well with generators as it lowers the overall run time.... That is why the large size of 50 amp capability is recommended..

Up on the ridge, scouting....

Neil,
The upgrade, new improved charger, remote panel, and installation will be added our current pricing guides at $100 over what the old 50amp was... (Roughly what our cost is.) Just trying to do it better all the time with Invention, always doing our R & D..... And this is the latest "Breakthough and Improvement" we have come up with, OK?

The bad news is: It is not applicable to the last model of the 50 amp that has gone out, as this is an entirely new system... Sorry....

Regards from the Ranger....

It looks like the above posting at $100 will just cover hardward costs for people that are in the Queue now waiting for a van. It looks like that $100 over the Optional Equipment price on the 50 amp, will be just for people in process now, as it is slightly below our installed cost with labour and materials.

We just had a Meeting this morning on expense with the additional labour for the safety feature of the temperature sensor in the battey box and the mounting and routing of the remote panel, and have added it to our Optional Equipment list at $150. Please call Peter at BT on over the counter or installed prices.

Cheers, from the Ranger out there somewhere.
