Just bought one of these locks. I intend to use it for outdoor furniture. I got to say the product is inferior. Although they promote it as weatherproof it is not sealed. The lock catch is plastic and I would think not very secure. I was going to buy a second one for my boat however the fittings are not stainless and I would doubt if the unit would last more than a month in a marine enviroment.
