There is a $200 REBATE coming on March 1, direct from Honda, they will mail you back a Rebate check with proof of purchase...

I was just notified.

Now that is a good deal !

hi all depends if you get the discounted price that is around at the moment
current RRP $2269 around sydney you can get the honda 2.0 for around $1990
the kipor 2.0 is $895 or $899 on ebay 90 % of comments on the kipor on the net be it aus us canada or europe are favourable i know you get what you pay for so with the honda you get a terriffic name & goods but you also get to support japanese cost of living corpoate profit expectations etc
even if the kipor 2.0 wont start the ac the kipor 3.0 is only $1399 & weighs just 4 kg more $ 600 buys a lot of fuel
just a thought

Give it a try! I am not here flogging generators, this is a service we are offering... However, I would not get a lesser brand as I have a track record with Honda for 25 years of bulletproof service running thousands of hours, and a track record at Bushtracker of them doing a great job for about 10 years now.

Lesser brands? We have had electronic gear reportedly "Not working" traced down to the generator being off frequency or off voltage, and therefore not covered by warranty... You go ahead and shop bottom dollar, I will not, as I know the odds are it would let me down when I needed it the most... Like low power and no air and fridge going down in 40 degree weather? I will buy the best, for things that I am going to depend on...

Do what you want, but I will do what I know it right, and so my advice...

Best Regards, the Ranger...

hi all
i think most of us can remember when japs cars first came on the scene they weren't as good as british or american
then they got better better so then they weren't as good as european cars
then they got better but they weren,t as good as mercs
then toyota brought out the lexus 60 % $ wise of the equivalent merc but 90 % of the car & then the lexus got better
just a thought
cheers

Stephen

I have never payed RRP for anything. You have got to learn to haggle on price.
Got a price last week for Honda 2.0i $1885 in Brisbane, will try again after March 1
might save another $200.

Hi Ranger, just read a previous posting giving the deal on the Honda, so with the $200 rebate, that would make your price $1850, correct?

Hello Ian,

Yes, that would be correct, but you get the $200 Rebate back from Honda. We cannot deduct if from the price as they only mail it directly to you...

Best Regards, stg
