Greetings all,
I note in thread 2141 submitted by Leith that there is mention of a P Box. What is a P Box. I suspect it is one of those piggyback after market computers similar to the D Tronic etc. If I am correct how do they stack up against the other players.
Regards,
Roy Smith

You can look up www.steinbauer and also thread 2112. P-box is German built and calibrated locally to vehicle and an owners requirements. I understand other units have slightly different set-ups. Usually German parts and assembled in Aus.
The idea is to improve on the international noise and anti-polution requirements. The lowest common denominator being not the most efficient outputs which could be got from a vehicle. When a Ford 250 is a little too big or too $$$$$ then one has to improve on what are second choices for 3 tonne vans
