Just caught a glimpse of a steel sided BT on the news with a couple standing with it talking to cops perhaps. To do with the flooding up north, they were trying to leave Katherine. Think it might have been Motherhen????. Don't often see a BT on national telly anyway.

How can you tell it is a steel sided BT not aluminium cladding with just a quick look on TV?

Hi Peter,
A quick look is all you need. They look a little like the sides were plated with horizontal planks - but made od steel of course. Quite distinctive.
Cheers John

Hi Matt.
Doubt it was Motherhen, as Jim & Judy didn't leave Tassie till 2nd April, heading home the slow way, should be just about SA by now.

True, not us. Someone who saw it on the news told us about it. There also must have been one like ours around SA when we were travelling through on our way home, as a couple of times people thought they'd seen us, near to, but not where we'd been.
