Most of you travellers probably carry a fair bit of gear in your tow vehicles. I added up the value of stuff I carry including a couple of gold detectors, inflatable Zodiac dingy, outboards, fishing gear, binoculars etc.... over $11,000 worth.

Car Insurance did'nt want to know, CIL van Insurance only covers stuff in the van and annex. Any got any ideas who may insure this sort of stuff?

Cheers John and Jean

Hi John,

If you have a household contents policy they may be willing to insure this gear. That's what I have done with my cameras.

Cheers
