Hi all
This is not a Bushtracker question. Hope I am not out of order to ask here.
My friend has a powerstroke v8 f250 which is often hard to start & when it does it appears to idle on one bank of cylinders only. A touch on the accelerator will correct the idling once started. The local Ford agent is a dead loss. As there are a lot of f250 owners here may be someone can help. Thanks in advance fo any replies.

As usual the Lone Ranger is forging new paths and exploring new territory... We now have a welcome spot for Australians on the Powerstroke Forum in the United States. There are regular Professional Ford Mechanics there to help you with all these kinds of problems, called "Techies"... Rather than the Lone Ranger venture a guess, you can get expert advice for free way above the capabilities of the local mob, on www.powerstrokeforum.com ........... tell em da Ranger sent cha!

I have been studying the current Ford engines and transmissions and electrical since embarassed by Turist a month ago... Realizing I knew nothing about the PowerStroke, I could not stand it, since I could really need the knowledge in the Bush with my own. Now I have a pretty good understanding of all the little bits and pieces like the CPS Cam Position Sensor, and things like that, that can possibly go wrong. They are a very friendly mob, will go all out to help you, and they loved our Bushtracker site and its pictures as to them we are way out on the Frontier... Australia (Oz I call it) is a dream destination for many of them. Anyway you are welcome there, I have forged the trail, and they are keen to help with things like this.

Best regards to all, LR
