Perhaps this is another option for vans, the web site for portable electric waterless toilets claims that they are suitable for RV's.
One of our electrical geniuses need to work out how much battery capacity is required.
It would be great to only have to dispose of a bit of ash occasionally.

Incinerator... Only on 240 power, not suitable for the Outback, too much power drain.

Nice idea, just does not work for us, big monster motorhome plugged into a park at Disneyland sort of thing.... Regards, da duh Ranger....
