Hello from all of US to all of YOU!

Had a great leg from Birdsville to CP.

In Birdsville, Luvntravln did a flight over the Simpson and other adjacent areas - really cool.

In about an hour we and Keith Batson and Stella Voorhies are going to fly over the Painted Desert and other areas. Then a tour underground.

We are here for two days to do a clean - dust everywhere, internet, and a shop.

The dust is like talcum powder - very different from the trip to Cape York. Last year we had no dust inside from Cairns to CY and return.

This year it finds its way through the smallest holes by the door, the battery box vents, the sullage hose, and of course inside Big Red, etc.

I can tell you this much - SO WHAT!

None of us would miss the experiences thus far simply because of a little dust or flies and flies and flies and flies. Oh yeah, who knows where they come from, where do they sleep at night, and how come you can be in the middle of a sand hill like on the top of Big Red in the Simpson where there is no vegetation and the moment you get out of your car there they are?

Each night we make a square with the four BTs and have a fire in the center. Luvntravln has put out the TV screen and we have watched a few movies.

Live is good and for those of you who do not yet have your box on wheels - what are you waiting for?

Life on the road is great.

Probably next segment will be from Alice Springs.

When the trip is over Stella is going to do a long detailed post with pictures of the trip.

Yesterday we drove the four BTs up onto a very high mesa and did a photo shoot.
Wait till you see that picture - fantastic! One for the wall.

Cheers for now

Jay, sounds like you are all having a wonderful trip. As for the flies - you guys are the meat for them when you rise up out of the desert like a supermarket on wheels. LOL.

Continue to have a good time and we will look forward to the report and piccies when they are ready.
