The Ranger knows him, good fellow; and this would have seen meticulous care and little use... Bargain! Bara rig, and the Bulldog for the front of the Bushtracker a-frame. Almost makes me wish I was going back to fishing....

Rchard,
I have a LX470,haven't really looked into Rhino racks are you sure it will fit? Any chance you could email some photos? What do you estimate total weight to be?
Many Thanks,
Birchy.

Hi Birchy,
Yes it all fits on a LX470, that was the vehicle I had until recently, a beautiful motor vehicle and I was really sad to part with it. So many features and comforts more than a Toyota. Never had a problem and it was excellent on and off road with air bags in the rear coils and a load levelling kit. I now have a F250 due to the weight of the van. When I put it over the pits. I was very suprised when it weighed out at 3.8 tons and I'm now over weight and un insured. I have added a lot of weight to my van and "The Lone Range" did get in my ear.

The mountings on the roof are the same for the 100 series and the LX470.
I don't remember what the weight it was when I bought it off TJM in Maroochydore, although it was never an any problem and I took it on some rough road sections from Kurumba, Burktown, Lawn Hill, Borroloola and in Kakadu National Park. Never a problem. All you need to do is periodically check that the studs are tight in the roof channel that secure the Rino Roof Rack to the vehicle . I did this when I arrived in Karumba and maybe got half a turn on a couple of studs. They never needed any further tightening again until I took the rack off when I returned home.

The boat only came off the roof in Karumba and that's because I'm no keen fisherman.
