Hi Terry

have used two sets of the 285's Cooper ST's and no complaints at all. A mate has been using the STT's on a hilux and was happy enough to have them fitted to his GU Ute in that size. The reports suggest that less road noise than the ST's and 1/3 stronger side walls.

They are the current favorite the lone Ranger would like to try. But my BFG Muddies are still at about 80%.... The real test is on the F-250's that are loaded up over 4 tonnes and have a big van on the back...

I have two people running them in the Outback, that are checking in time to time telling me how they are going. So far no flats, so far wear is good, so far no sidewall problems..... But we need more time for an analysis of merit, no one has run them long enough yet as they are new. I will have more news on it as it happens.

But the lone Ranger sez: "Dey is lookin' reeeeel good!"

We run Cooper ST's on the van (BT 20ft) and Cooper ATR's on the tow vehicle (L/C 100TD)
The tyres have been magnificent and i'd say if the STT's are even better then they must be a goer!!!
Nonetheless, I'll be putting ATR's all round on the #2 BT & vehicle ( for convenience)
