Both trucks are very good, Chevrolet is the top for a luxury car and performance vehicle, and Ford is the top in toughness and the worlds choice for heavy duty work. However, their Owners differ in nature in the way they think, in a very basic way.

Chevy Owners believe everything they read about with regards to the performance of their truck.... And this gets them into trouble like this: This person read it, and assumed it was possible as they believe in all the city luxury performance of their Chevrolet......

Ford Owners believe in the Super Duty characteristics of their Truck being a Super Truck... And this gets them into a different kind of trouble as they try and over do it a bit: This person, tried to load and move slightly too large of a payload... Not understanding the practical limits of the Super Duty F-Series:

We at Bushtracker would suggest you know the limitations of your respective tow vehicles... AND ALSO, A REMINDER FOR NEWBIES: Review TIP # 21 on the top 29 Safety Tips for towing, before each of your first few trips, until it becomes part of your driving habits...

From the past 10 years about 90% of Ford trucks are still on the road, the other 10% made it home.

The people who say they would rather push a Ford than drive a Chevy usually do.

Why are the new Ford trucks more aerodymic?

So tthe Chevy won't use too much diesel when the Chevy tows them away.

Have you still got that Luxury Ford in the garage Bob?

I must say your Chevy is a very impressive unit, and a lot of Ford owners would be envious of it, including me.

Never trust a chevy I warn you all,
they seldom start, they always stall.
Those who drive chevys, those who dare,
their always broke and in need of repair.

First its the plugs then the points,
after the clutch the universal joints.
Their just so soft, just good for a granny,
give them some gas and your sure to break the tranny.

If your pulled over for speeding and its seldom so,
the cop will take one look and let you go.
He'll say to you while looking tough,
"your driving a chevy, you've suffered enough"

When shopping for a truck, don't shop all day,
you can drive home a Ford or push home a CHEVROLET.

Nick

Steve,
I'm spending a fair bit of time enjoying reading everythingon this site, but the Tip's section loses me a bit. Is there a full tip list in order that i haven't found yet?,as it took me a while to find Tip#21 & i see on the Post's that some tips go up to #130.
Also regarding Insect & Midgee mesh Screens, theres a bit of debate i see (i am contemplating Midgee screens myself) , but would rather stay with the airflow. In the advent i ripped a hole in the existing window screen, how easy is it to change out & replace it in the scrub if i carry spare screen?
Regards Wardy
