Being a 'user' rather than a 'polisher' I was interested to read on another
forum that adding a cup of kero in the wash/shampoo bucket adds a fine film to the outside surface and provides extra protection, shine and easier cleaning. The Govenor General driver used nothing but the kero mix on the official Rolls for many years.
Makes the removal of bird poop, sap etc a lot easier. Ants also hate it and will not get on the van.
Anyone have experience with this recipe?
Happy new Year All

Howdy John & Jean,
When we first got our TOJO I had a friend advise me to use rain water and 1 cup lighting kero to wash and keep the nice paint nice! Seems to work well - good for removing all sorts of stuff - including road grime!
