On the advice of da Ranger I am going to get a CPS for my F250 to put in the glove box. Am I on the right track. Went into the powerstroke shop site and the only one I can see is a black one Part No. F7TZ12K073A. US $100( I have a 2004 model ) If anyone has one , is this the correct part number?

Hi Barrie
Yes, that's the right part number. My original gave up the ghost at about 90,000 kms causing the engine to stop dead then restart after a few minutes only to stop again after 10 minutes running. The F350 seems to run a little smoother with the replacement and fuel consumption seems to have improved a little. Maybe the old CPS was on the way out for a while. I have just refuelled this afternoon having covered 1021kms using 140.5 litres or 7.33 km/l which is certainly better than before replacement.
Cheers Nick.

Nick
Thanks very much. Now I can move along with confidence and order one. That is very good economy. So much for people who thing that because they are big that they must use a lot of fuel.
In this case, big is better??
Cheers
Barrie
