Hello Boggers and Boggers to be!!!

I am off today, going out to my horse property for the first time in a week... I am just driving today, and still have to stay off my horses for the next couple of weeks. We have put our horses to our Trainer, and will go up to see them this afternoon, as this weekend is the first Qualifying Competition in the Reining Horse circuit this year, so my Bushtracker will get a run out west there.... Wooooo Hooooo !!!! This will be the first time I sit for the whole show in the stands... Oh well.. Our Trainer is going to compete two of our horses and transport Jem and Jewels horses there, so it will be a luxury run for me... Cool....

Thank all of you for your kind thoughts and messages on the Public, and Owners Forum, and Emails to Bushtracker... Yes I am on the mend, better than can be expected I think. And I can assure you, the lone Ranger will ride again and stronger than ever... Just not in the next couple of weeks... Very kind of you to take the time to send your well wishes, Thank you...

And today is a big day for the Special Needs Children. Noosa Shire RDA has joined us and we are growing before we even start.. Supposedly the Erector has assembled all of the 42 Metre Indoor arena on the ground, and it will go up today in sections with the cranes... Wooooo Hooooo!!! I will surf a tidal wave of smiles if that happens... You can all smile with me, as this is where I am channeling the success of Bushtracker towards, helping the less fortunate. My plan is to use the future success, to build another half so we have 80 metres by 40 metres under roof, and more stables, and such; to have the State Competitions there. It does the children good, as the motion of the horse articulates their bodies, and is the highlight of their lives as you can imagine..

Anyway, thank all of you for your well wishes, and yes I am on the mend..

Happy Trails, LR

Hi Steve...that's great news and what you are doing with the RDA is very heartwarming...

One really needs to see the looks and smiles on the faces of these kids to fully appreciate just what RDA does for them...

I placed a calm Arab gelding with them in Woombye or Palmwoods..(forget now ...anyway, close to Nambour) about 25 years ago and I used to travel out there to see him every so often and saw just how the kids love RDA...One of the girl volunteers took a shine to "Drift" so I signed him over to her...
