Gudday all

Looking at getting a next G phone primarly to internet connect my notebook?, I currently have a extended antenna on my BT that was set up with CDMA, I want to change it to Next G. I went to see the telstra shop and the bloke there said that I can just swap the CDMA Hands free kit for a LG phone & hands free kit, all good. But as I want to plug my notebook into the phone I have to take the phone from the cradle, and as such the extended arial will no longer be connected so in the bush my range will be crap, does anyone know if there is any phone on the market that will be able to do both?. i.e two data ports, Notebook with phone and extended arial conected? hope this makes sense! (summited in owners forum as well)

Cheers,

Kenso

If your laptop has Bluetooth you can connect to the Internet in the hands free, or you can get a mobile phone installation person bring out a USB connection. I added the USB connection as one laptop has Bluetooth the other does not. You could buy a Bluetooth dongle if your laptop does not have Bluetooth built in.
Received an upgrade to NextG for my phone and the wifes phone and received 2 free car kits, one installed in the vehicle and the other in the van with external aerial.

We bought a next G PC card modem for our laptop just after Christmas and experience so far is great. We've been in SW WA and now out to Kalgoorlie. Reception has been good is the cities and most small towns except Augusta where we had to go the top of the hill. We've chosen SuperFast 400MB a month plan on a special offer with a 50% discount for two years and $120 off the modem. Speed is excellent.
