This afternoon the Batt Temp light and alarm came on for about an hour. What would be the cause for this and what can we do to remedy the situation?

Also what type of sealant is used to seal the Tethford toilet as the original has come unattached?

Bru2, don't know who you are, age of van, model of charger, better call Bushtracker, no one is likely to be able to help you on this Forum.... This is a bit Technical.... BUT..
It seems to me that you may not be a Member of this Forum? As there is a TIP on just these two topics on the Owners Forum.... TIP # 133, and 133B "Secrets of the New Talking Battery Charger, (which tells you the codes and how to trouble shoot this yourself....)

The other topic is also on the Owners Forum...

TIP # 150 Thetford Water Seal at Floor Level…. (Deals with the sealant issue on the Thetford Loo...)

I would suggest that you become a Member, as the TIPS on the Owners Forum are value in itself that will return you ten times your investment every year... Money well spent. Also there are invites to Stations, special camping spots, travel Blogs and Directions, and countless other bits of great value...

Why don't I just answer your questions by putting those TIPS here on the Public Forum? I don't want to make it easy for those that try and copy our style, to get the R&D of the REAL THING.......... BUSHTRACKER....

Bushtracker has nothing to do with the Administration or running of this site... I, the lone Ranger, am only here to help the Bushtracker Owners along, and be a positive Contributor. However, when it comes to particular Research and Development on the Bushtracker itself, I reserve that for the Owners Forum for Bushtracker Owners that contribute to this site so administration can pay the maintenance costs. The finance has nothing to do with me or Bushtracker itself.

I suggest you join. If I am somehow wrong and you are a Member, read those TIPS on the Owners Forum. If you have any further questions after that, I will be pleased to address them here at Bushtracker or on the Owners Forum itself...

Best Regards, and WELCOME TO THE BOG SITE............... Ranger

Hello Bru2,

Noosa Fox has noted that you are not a Financial Member of the BOG.... It is the cheapest money with the highest return you will ever see. For instance, one of my last TIPS of Research was a lead to a double headed 12v compressor tyre pump, similar to the $800+ Blue Tongue, for something like $179, which many Bogger took advantage of...

The cost to join this Forum was something like $35 from Memory, and the proceeds are used to pay the costs of this Forum for the benefit of the Bushtracker Owners. Bushtracker does not get a penny from Membership Costs, I am just a Volunteer Contributor here, trying to do "Good Works"... Any one of the last dozen TIPS on the Owners Forum has the potential of saving you ten times the cost of joining the Forum. You also get Private Camping areas, invites, travel logs, and countless other Benefits, as well as "Comrades and Traveling Company" on trips with other like minded people...

I do my best to contribute to the Site myself, in an effort to make it worthwhile for the Bushtracker Owners to benefit from the Site and get a good return.. The TIPS are things of common interest like I listed above, as well as our Latest R&D, Maintenance Tips, and goodies like that. It is well worth joining..

Regards, lone Ranger...
