I am just curious about the lighting with LEDs. I was wondering whether as LED are just basically diodes thats the D bit for thoose that didnt know. I was wondering what sort of efficiency gains you might get if you add some sort of pulse modulation (swtching on and off) in the dc circuit. It has been a while since I played around with things like that but what i vaguely remember is that Diodes generally dont like being "on" all the time and that they actually like the switching. I may be totally wrong in all this. But i was just postulating to myself when i was reading some of the threads about the power management in these beautiful caravans. just wish i had the money to get one :) I am saving hard :) But i would think there would be no noticable lighting lost if you went this method too if you pick the frequency correctly.

Anyway was just a thought Maybe the lone ranger in all his playing that he does might like to add this to his list of things to play with :)
