As you might imagine...2 DVD's arrived on the same day... ha... anyway we watched the Show and must admit that we were impressed with the DVD and on the basis of what we saw, we certainly got green with envy as unfortunately we are not able to do anything at the moment...
Three things stood out for me, and I explained them to Grace.... one was the overall toughness of the Bushtracker for the job it was used for...and of course if it can do that without failures it can do anything... The second thing was the fascinatingly efficient way the Independent suspension worked, with the load sharing ability keeping the van completely level over the roughest bumps...in fact the vans seemed to handle the very rough stuff better than the tow vehicles!!!... The third thing I noticed with interest was that although Matt was towing a smaller van with his Holden, he seemed to manage as well as and if not better than the Dodge as far as traction went, but of course not as well as the Dually...
Overall I feel as if the quality of the video picture could have been better with some strange contrast at times and saturation and colours were also mixed quality...I guess this gets back the camera used for the videoing..I guess also that I am comparing the quality against the picture that later model digital wide screen cameras have...although I have no idea of the brand and type camera you used...
Thats about all for now...the length of the video was fine for the average viewer, but I would have liked more...lol...
Anyway, thank's for the opportunity to view the video as overall it was a great effort!!!,
Regards,
Kev.

Thank you Fosss,

This was not an effort to sell Videos like some other Mob, but rather an effort to do an introduction to the Bushtracker Lifestyle... Yes we could have drug along a Hollywood film crew, but I wanted a bit of realism and a feel for the Fair Dinkum, which I think I acheived.

There were some contrast filters used experimentally, but overall, I am happy with the quality of it myself... I thank you for taking the time to write this critique, and there may be more in the future. Like maybe a big trip, like maybe a 4x4 instructional video with the vans, that sort of thing...

Thanks once again... Regards and good health, lone Ranger

Hi Steve...
I think that the Video would certainly get the fence sitters chomping at the bit!!!

May be for the fanatics (such as I) you could throw together the rest of the trip unedited onto a DVD or 2 or 3 ...I could send you some DVDs...
Regards,
fosss
